Sixth Grade 1969 – 1970
In the fall of 1963
fifty-one boys and girls entered the kindergarten class at
The fall of 1964 saw these same boys and girls entering the first grade with the exception of the following: Katherine Abott, Rose Dickman, Scott Gess, Bryan Mellage, Bruce Kuenning, and Jamie Stribling.
The following joined our group: Terry Hofker, Greg Kreifels, Mark Meyer, Lynn Ann Rechtenbach, Pam Gordon, Wade Hopkins, and Dan Clark.
Our teachers were Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Leefers.
In the fall of 1965 the teachers for the second grad were Miss Blomenkamp and Mrs. McPherson. The pupils who were in the first grad were in the second grade except for the following: John Baden, Jesse Bailey, Kathy Miller, Michael Sims, Tracy Zahn, and Lynn Ann Rechtenbach.
In the fall of 1966 our third grade teachers were Mrs. Vice and Mrs. Koester. The following left our group: Nathan Algiers, Janice Francois, John Janssen, Pamela Thompson, and Greg Kreifels.
The following joined our group: Tracy Zahn, Dennis Winters, Stella Ochoa, Donny Scheinost, Theresa Sucha, Lori Warlick, Terry Auer, Kevin Darling, Kalvin Darling, Lester Ochoa, and Ricky Meyer.
In the fall of 1967 the 4/th grade teachers were Mrs. Snyder and Mrs. Kreifels. These people left us: Bruce Kuenning, Mark Meyer, Wade Hopkins, Douglas Smith, Kevin Darling, Kalvin Darling, Lester Ochoa, and Stella Ochoa.
These people joined us: Debra Badberg, Jolene Kreifels, Joy Panko, Pat Sands, Tina Darvin, Brian Kcochke, Linda Janssen, Karen Johns, Brenda Mueller, Valerie Johns, and Matthew Moore.
In the fall of 1968 the fifth grade teachers were Mrs. Wolf , Mrs. Hess, and Mrs. Stark. The pupils in the 4/th grade were also together in the fifth grade except for the following: Mitch Emmke, Schuyler Noel, Terry Hofker, Pam Gordon, Mark Wonder, Dennis Winters, Debra Badberg, Tina Darvin, Brenda Mueller, and Matthew Moore.
In the fall of 1969, 29 students enrolled in the sixth grade class. Our teacher is Mrs. Schacht. Our class consist of the following: Julie Antes, Patty Boyes, Dan Clark, Laura Farley, Debra Fellers, Ron Hawkins, Linda Janssen, Cindy Johns, Doug Kreifels, Jolene Kreifels, Joyce Liesemeyer, Ricky Meyer, Roxanne Miesbach, Jeff Nannen, Ray O’Hara, Joy Panko, Julie Pickerill, Debbie Prigge, Arlen Rowe, Thersa Sucha, Kelly Tucker, Royce Tucker, Mary Van Housen, Danny Venema, Lori Warlick, Gay Windhoarst, and Carol Witte.
Mark Meyer rejoined us this year, Karen Keim came in from a country school.

We the sixth grade of 1970, being of sound mind and body do hereby leave our most valued possessions to our dearest friends in this our last will and testimony.

Joy Panko will give her noisy mouth to Sandra Janssen.
Patty Boyes would like to give her scar to Brenda Witt.
Royce Tucker will give her stapeler to Julie Carlson.
Jeff Nannen will give his height to Bruce Whitehead.
Julie Pickerill wills her hole in the front of her desk to Bob Van Housen.
Lori Warlick will give her weekly readers to Julie Carlson.
Cindy Johns wills here long dresses to Teresa Hill.
Kelly Tucker wills here torn shoe to Julie Carlson.
Linda Janssen will give her ability to run fast to Jeff Kastens.
Doug Kreifels wills his acme pimples to Terry Peterson.
Dan Clark wills his talkiness to Allen Pummel.
Mary Van Housen will give her beautiful looks and personality to Gail Scheef.
Ron Hawkins wills his freckles to Greg Frye.
Laura Farley wills her littleness to Brenda Witt.
Raymond O’Hara wills his ability not to get his work done on time to Randy Harms.
Jolene Kreifels wills here short fingernails to Terry Peterson.
Danny Venema wills his wart to Doug Beach.
Theresa Sucha will give her brown eyes to Lorri Antes.
Carol Witte will give her longest hair to Dale Kulhenengel.
Arlen Rowe will give his checkered sock with one hole in it to Bill Morrissey.
Ricky Meyer wills his pencil to Allen Pummel.
Karen Keim wills her mole to Terri Johns.
Joyce Liesemeyer will give her dimples to Dee Ann Dettmer.
Debbie Prigge would like to give her wind breaker to Brenda Witt.
Mark Meyer wills his ability to keep on reading when the teacher tells him to stop to Bruce Whitehead.
Julie Antes would like to give her ability to lose her junk easily to Diane Clark.
Debra Fellers will give her pencil to Carol Fellers.
